Our bilingual nursery school Joki Trudering
Found at the Kirchtrudering Maypole and easy to reach from both Trudering and Bogenhausen, a detached house was built to our specifications and especially for children in the Birthälmer Straße. Embedded in a lovely green space the children feel totally at home here. Our garden borders directly onto the playground of the St. Peter and Paul Kindergarten, and the Lehrer Gotz Primary School is just around the corner.
The rooms are bright, spacious and furnished to a high standard. Each group has its own room and a separate sleeping room which can also be used as a multi-function room or for special activities.
The nice, vast garden with various play equipment and sand pits is used exclusively by us. Here the children can move around, play and under supervision discover lots of new things about nature. On our outings we explore the local area with its playgrounds and fields.
Bilingual care from the beginning: Alongside our German speaking carers, each group will normally have an English speaking carer who will introduce the children to their language and culture through fun and games. Using the Immersion method, our native speakers speak with the children solely in their mother tongue. The aim is not to teach the children a language in a school-like way, but rather that they should come into contact with a foreign language, songs and games.
Our own cook receives special intensive training about the nutritional needs of young children. She prepares all meals fresh each day and appropriate for the age of the children. Therefore, it is not necessary to bring any snacks to the nursery. The menu can be adjusted for children with allergies.
You can register in our crèche here.
Joki has an exceptionally high staff to child ratio. In each group 3-4 carers look after 12 children between the ages of six months up until the end of their third year.

Through this the intercultural competence of the children is encouraged, which prepares them for a globalised world. Additionally their brains will be trained according to well-founded scientific findings without any pressure of a particularly intensive form. A high mental flexibility results all the more, the earlier and more consistently the child finds itself in a multilingual environment. You can find further information at www.fmks-online.de.
